1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (due Mon. April 7)
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?

1. I have researched labyrinths, Greek mythology, Louisiana History, and the Louisiana Peach Festival.
2. Research is very, very helpful in any project, even if you know a lot about a certain subject, you still need to research it. There's always something you don't know.
3. For our Festival Project in 7th grade , my friend Dani and I got the Louisiana Peach Festival. We had to research everything about the festival (activities, location, history, etc.) We had to make a bulliten board of our information. It was a success because we did a lot of reserch. We even sent an email to the camber of commerce and they sent us post cards, brochures, and t-shirts.

2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:

1. It narrowed down my choices. I figured out which topics had more information I could use.

3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. Topic:
2. Why you chose it:
3. What you already know about your topic:

1. The Globe Theater
2. I love the ancient literature and plays, so I thought it would be interesting to choose where most plays were performed.
3. I know that it is in London and most of Shakespear's plays were performed there.

4 - Pre-Notetaking Activity - in class (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic.

- Fat Questions
- How has the Globe Theatre affected modern day literature, theater, and theater archetecture?
- Skinny Questions
- What was the first play performed at the Globe Theatre?
- How did it get it's name?

- How did the fire start?
- How is the original globe theatre different from the modern Globe Theatre?
- Where is it located?
- Which plays have been perfomed there?
- How many people can it hold?
- What peices of literature have come out of plays performed there?

Red - History
Green - Events
Modern - Bluish

5 - Reflections on Pre-Notetaking - for homework (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?

- I think the inspiration thing did help to some extent, it didn't have to be in inspiration, but it helped me narrow down my ideas to just one broad topic.
- It was really hard to think of fat questions because I wasn't sure if it was acctually a fat question. I had many that I thought were fat questions, then I was told that they were more of skinny questions. I got frustrated but I think I ended up finding one.
